Kevin Haxell received a Bachelor of Arts Degrees from the University of Toronto, St. Michael's College and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor. He was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1980. In 2014, he completed the Family Mediation: Theory & Skills course offered by Barbara Landau of Cooperative Solutions.
Kevin has spent the last thirty-five years in private practice; the early years in Toronto, the later here in Oakville, where he lives. Over the last twenty years, Kevin has developed his family law practice while maintaining a strong presence in the area of residential real estate. He intends to continue to offer his services as a family law solicitor, but he feels that the time has come to hand litigation off to his junior, Mr. Jameson Glas.
Kevin and Haxell Law have been recognized by the reader’s of the Oakville Beaver for over a decade. They have consistently been named in the top three favourite lawyers and law firms.
Those of you who have not met Kevin professionally, but think you recognize him, may have been to the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts or had children playing hockey or soccer in Oakville. Since the early nineties, Kevin has been involved in over twenty productions at the Oakville Centre as an actor and director. He also coached his sons' hockey and soccer teams.
